Reading Fun with Title I

posted May 2, 2018, 12:22 PM by Mull Elementary School   [ updated May 2, 2018, 12:23 PM ]

Mull Elementary School celebrated their love of reading on Wednesday! In the morning, Mustang families came to the media center and enjoyed Pastries with Parents. Parents read with their children and enjoyed some delicious donuts. Later in the day, all were entertained by Barry Mitchell and Sam the Turtle in their presentation of Readers Rock.
Students and their families were inspired to read and smile as Barry Mitchell shared some fun and the love of reading through magic and song.
Chartwells then had a frozen treat for everyone to enjoy in the shade of the trees as everyone soaked in the wonderful springtime temperatures.
Every child was given their own book to keep and enjoy. It was a wonderful day celebrating the love of reading !

Mrs. Johnson gathered the first grade girls to visit again with Addi Steele. The topic of yesterday's visit was personal style. They each made their own hat to show off their style. They used markers, stickers, poof balls, flowers, and of course glitter. No hat was exactly the same!
